Titans Golf
Society
Formed in 2004
by ACGA member
Tennis Russell,
the Titan Golf
Society (TGS)
was set up to
promote golf
amongst African
& Caribbean
golfers in the
Bristol area.
Now in their
sixth year, the
TGS have over 30
members who play
at least 5 events,
including a
charity day
each year. The
TGS are regular
attendees at the
ACGA majors and
ACGA members
have
reciprocated by
travelling to
Bristol to be
part of Titans
events. This
relationship has
also given us
the opportunity
to play each
other in a head
to head match
Titans vs. ACGA.
(ACGA 1 TGS 1).
In 2008 The
Titans became
officially
affiliated to
the ACGA, so
that members of
the Titans Golf
Society can
compete in ACGA
majors as full
members.
