"There's a new sheriff in town"

It's been a long time coming, 2002 was the first match and the cup has been with the Cypriots Golf society all that time.

2008 would see the cup change hands for the first time in Six years.

My strategy was to leave the big guns out last. Let's just say the captain had a quite word with the last three pairs, along the lines "you'd best shape up"

The captain takes the decision to break up the two winning pairs from the morning.  Some changes had to be made to freshen up the ACGA challenge.  The changes had the desired effect as we take the first 4 matches and the momentum has swung our way. I have to mention Damian. Won his pairs in the morning and in the Afternoon put him up against "Tass".  Andy and myself thought we had quiet Tass down from the morning. Tass was not having any of it and was talking us to death over lunch about what he was going to do to the person I put up against him in the afternoon. Damian was the player I thought would deal with Tass. Down the first Tass is none stop and they half the first. We are now on the seventh hole and Tass is six (6) down. Now he's quiet.

A great team effort and the ACGA final get to take the cup home well done boys and thank you for given up your time.
